The Tour della Bessanese is a high mountain trek for expert hikers in the great landscape of the southern Graian Alps, along the ancient paths that were scene of trades for shepherds, smugglers and guides between Italy and France.
The Tour runs through wild and different valleys and passes at 3000 mt. It could start from Balme in Val di Ala (Rifugio Gastaldi) from Usseglio in Val di Viù (Rifugio Cibrario) and from Bessans in Haute Maurienne (Refuge d’Avérole).
